3.4.4 Cabinets: Hardware: Latches
  1. Warranty Period

    In-Home: Cabinets and hardware receive 1-year warranty coverage from the original date of occupancy of the home.

    Common Property: Cabinets and hardware receive 15-month warranty coverage from the date of first conveyance.

  2. Potentially Warrantable Issues

    1. Magnetic latch not working
    2. Pop-out latch fails to release cabinet door
    3. Pop-out latch fails to allow cabinet door to close as intended
      1. Caveat: Pop out latch may require hand-pressure on cabinet door at location of latch. Pressing on other part of door may not achieve desired result and is not deemed warrantable.
    4. Cannot open cabinet door with ease. Pop-out latch needed
    5. Latch alignment restricts door from closing properly or significantly affects visual aesthetic
    6. Damage reported prior to initial occupancy
  3. Non-Warrantable Issues

    1. Damage of any kind reported after initial occupancy
      1. Caveat: Damage caused by manufacturing defect or subsequent damage from unrelated warrantable defect may be considered for warranty repair or replacement
    2. Minor adjustments to latch
